Here are a few examples of the Electrifying homework!
This week we also had our school Book Fair. We were really excited as we had a chance to go and look at the books with
our friends. We saw some lovely books we would like in our classroom.
In Literacy we watched a video about Poppy Day - with no sound and then with the sound and no picture.
We made notes as we listened to the video.
First of all we listened for significant dates and then wrote down
what the dates were for.
We chose the headings for our information and then wrote our facts
on poppies. We had a circle and discussed what we did and celebrated
what a success our work was and what we had learnt about Poppy Day.
Year 6 brought poppies to our class during Poppy Week.
In Science our challenge was to make a simple circuit to light up the bulb. We had to work with our partners as we had to help each other to connect the wire to the bulb. We then found out which materials are conductors and make a switch for our circuit. We really enjoyed the challenge. Next week we are making Drawbots!
