Our Last Week of Term in Year 3

We opened the music concert playing Rover on our recorders

Mr Hill was very impressed.

Mr Hill's group also played and were brilliant!

It was a shame we couldn't have our normal sports day

due to the weather - I knew we shouldn't have done our

rainmaker music! On our last day we had a lot of fun doing

a KS2 sports Day - the Blues won!

We played board games and really enjoyed playing together.

Even Mrs Christmas enjoyed playing draughts and the Tooth Fairy Game.

Our End of Term Celebration afternoon

We really enjoyed our celebration afternoon.

We loved playing French Bingo with our parents

and having a go at handwriting and maths badges.

In the hall we did a Chinese Dragon procession.

We played our recorders and played our

rainmaker music and it really, really rained!

We really enjoyed doing our Morris dancing again dancing to Lads A'Bunchin!

In the ICT room we showed our families how to create

a Kandinsky painting on Art Revelation

In the hall we played our BFG games.

Preparing for Open afternoon

We brainstormed ideas for our afternoon to celebrate our work.

Parents Evening

It was lovely to see so many parents in the classroom

celebrating their children's work.

A very enjoyable and memorable evening.

28th June to 2nd July HSBC

We were all very excited as we went to visit the HSBC bank on North Street.

We enjoyed going round the back and being on the other side of the counter!

We were allowed to go into the safe, which was exciting, but also a bit scary.

When we came back we designed some posters about money and Teri came in to see them.

21st June to 25th June BFG Games

This week we continued to read the BFG and we had a challenge to design a game for the BFG's visit to Luckwell School. We had to design and make a game, but the most important part was writing the rules and making sure they were clear enough to follow. When we had finished our games we tried them out with our friends and that helped us find out if they worked or not.
