Our End of Term Celebration afternoon

We really enjoyed our celebration afternoon.

We loved playing French Bingo with our parents

and having a go at handwriting and maths badges.

In the hall we did a Chinese Dragon procession.

We played our recorders and played our

rainmaker music and it really, really rained!

We really enjoyed doing our Morris dancing again dancing to Lads A'Bunchin!

In the ICT room we showed our families how to create

a Kandinsky painting on Art Revelation

In the hall we played our BFG games.

Parents Evening

It was lovely to see so many parents in the classroom

celebrating their children's work.

A very enjoyable and memorable evening.

28th June to 2nd July HSBC

We were all very excited as we went to visit the HSBC bank on North Street.

We enjoyed going round the back and being on the other side of the counter!

We were allowed to go into the safe, which was exciting, but also a bit scary.

When we came back we designed some posters about money and Teri came in to see them.

21st June to 25th June BFG Games

This week we continued to read the BFG and we had a challenge to design a game for the BFG's visit to Luckwell School. We had to design and make a game, but the most important part was writing the rules and making sure they were clear enough to follow. When we had finished our games we tried them out with our friends and that helped us find out if they worked or not.

18th June First two weeks back!

This week the new books for the library arrived so we went into the hall and had a look at them. There are some fantastic new books for us all to share.

We started our Art work and researched stained glass windows in ICT and created our own designs. This week we began painting them. They look amazing.

We have also been looking at instructions in Literacy and we are designing games for the BFG as well as smoothie dreams and nightmares.

First week back we had the Football Friday!

Lots of fun and fantastic dressing up.

21st May 2010 Ashton Park Visit

This week we had a special treat and we all walked to Ashton Park for a morning of gymnastics. We had a brilliant time and we all thought it was a fantastic morning.
