26.5.2011

Thanks to all the parents
who came to the Arts Trail.
Wasn't the Art work wonderful?
Spot the Gorilla was very popular.

Our stained glass windows
at the Arts Trail.

And our Egyptian cats.

Our surprise!
We really enjoyed our trip to Airpoint.
We were able to see all the famous
buildings in Bristol.
We saw the Suspension bridge, Cabot Tower,
St Mary Redcliffe, The Tobacco Factory,
Ashton Court and lots more.
We even spotted Mac Donalds!

We even had a race around the track.
It was further than we thought!

Here we are on the roof!

Back to school and many thanks to
Daisy's Mum, Lara's Mum, Anya's Mum,
Jacob's Dad and Mrs Hillberg for coming with us.
"It was great!"

Have a lovely holiday.
Enjoy doing your homework challenge!
Looking forward to next term
Come Dine with me!

20.5.2011

This week we were really excited as we
painted Spot the Gorilla
ready for his journey to the Arts Trail!

We played Mission Impossible
testing each other on number sentences
multiplying and dividing.

We had a circle to talk about our Gorilla designs.
As they were all so brilliant it was difficult to
choose the best three!

In Literacy we began to make our leaflets
about our favourite places in Bristol.

On Friday Spot the Gorilla was very excited
as he was going out for the
weekend to the Arts Trail!

We finished our stained glass windows.

We are looking forward to
our surprise trip next week!

13.5.2011

We have been working hard
doing assessment this week.

We started the week with some
Wake and Shake!
I am the Music Man!

Some more wonderful Topic homework.
This is a very special Balloon!

And some more birthdays!

We used our designs to draw on the glass
and then painted in the colours.
Our stained glass windows
look brilliant!

We had to really concentrate to paint our windows.

Another wonderful week of learning!

invited our parents into class
to take part in some workshops.

First of all we did
Music Man - Wake and Shake.

We did a Treasure Hunt

in the playground.

We went on some Science websites
investigating materials
and to play some Maths games.

We also showed our parents
all our work we have been doing.

We really enjoyed playing
chocolate teapot!

We celebrated birthdays
that had been in the holidays.

We talked about our brilliant
homework challenge.

We have started designing our
stained glass windows.

Thank you to all the parents who
came to our afternoon.
