8.4.2011

This week we did observational
drawings of daffodils and used watercolour
paints and watercolour paper
to paint them.

We made them into Easter cards
for our families.

We also worked in groups to make a
bottle top picture.

Water colour painting.

Bottle top pictures.

We really enjoyed our craft afternoon
that the PTFA organised for us.
Thank you.

We made our water colour daffodils
into Easter cards
for our families.

In Numeracy we investigated right angles
in the classroom.

This week some of the class did their
cycling proficiency test.
The trainers were very impressed with
our listening skills and attitude.
Well done cyclists!

We decided to have a teddy bear free time
for our marble day.
We took all our favourite free choice
games outside and really had a
fantastic afternoon.

Happy Birthdays!

At the end of the afternoon we listened to
the story of how the Easter Hare
became the chosen animal to
deliver Easter eggs.

We have had a brilliant term
and we are looking forward
to our next Topic
Bristol Festivals.

1.4.2011

This week was Art week.
This week we made our own
Mother's Day Cards.
We all wanted to express our
thanks to our lovely Mums.
Some people really got carried
away and did lots of kisses!

We played Mission Impossible!
Checking what we know!

Spring has arrived!

We had a challenge to design
our own piece of Bunting
for the
Arts Trail in May
Look out for our designs
at Southville School at the Arts Trail.
We did some fantastic designs.

We had 10 minutes extra play
for winning the Golden Lunchbox!
AGAIN!

We were really sad to say goodbye
to a very special member of our class.
He will really be missed.
We all wish him well in his new school
and warmest wishes to all his family.
We will definitely miss his cheeky smile,
as well as his happy and positive attitude to school.
We hope you check in to see what we are up to!
